The ultimate power of positive thinking is a cherished dream for many people around the world. Positive thinking means that you are allowing only those good thoughts into your mind, and such thoughts may include words, images and perceptions, which are suitable for personal growth and prosperity. Positive thinking also allows you to think everything good about life and its results. If you have a positive thinking mind, youll always anticipate happy life, peace, laughter, good health and financial success. It also means that you can unleash your mind to find whatever you want for your life. Positive thinking is so powerful!

Positive thinking is always beneficial to us; when our attitude and behavior is positive, we allow only pleasant feelings and constructive images to work in our mind, and also visualize in our inner eye, what we really want from our life and how it should happen. Such an attitude brings only good things like an enhanced inner energy level, catchy manners, twinkling eyes and success. A person with positive thought will walk and talk in an upright manner without any hesitation. The ultimate body language shows a tremendous capacity to achieve all things, which are considered impossible in the normal course of life.

Positive thoughts and positive people can not be avoided in manner, as in real life, they are highly contagious and infectious. Positive thinking people are just like magnets, capable enough to attract other people to follow them and act like them. This is often so true when you stay with highly positive people for a month or two, and study their impeccable positive behavior. This is known to occur almost unknowingly in our subconscious mind, almost on a continuous mode.

To create a turnaround to guide our mind towards positive thinking, we need makeshift work to change the way we think and act. Your old habits may never die and it is often very tough to get rid of your past baggage. Changing your old habits is also painful as you need to come out of your negative past and change the previous rules. Visualization may help you develop positive thinking process, and always visualize only beneficial situations. Talk positive and develop positive manners. Another improvised method to develop positive thinking is the recitation of positive affirmations and self talk. This method can be used in conjunction with the visualization process, just to supplement the overall result.

The Best Detroit Piston Team Ever

Which is the best Detroit Piston team of all time? I have pondered this question deeply and have engaged in many a bar stool debate. As a lifelong sports fan and hoops junkie, I find asking which the best team is in the history of a storied franchise like the Detroit Pistons is big part of what makes sports fun. For the purposes of this particular debate, there are really only two options by anyones standards: the championship Detroit Piston teams of the mid to late 80s and the more recent teams of 2004 and 2005 who went to two finals series and won a championship.

The arguments for the Detroit Piston teams of the late 80s are certainly easy to make. Those Bad Boys teams were trend setters. The 80s were a time of high scoring offenses and soft defenses. Scores routinely made it into triple digits as teams like the Lakers, Celtics, Rockets, and Sixers ruled the league. Then the Detroit Pistons came along with their tough, hard nosed, no easy baskets style of defense. They gave way to teams like the Bulls and Knicks who adopted similar defensive philosophies. Setting such a trend in a league like the NBA is certainly cause for consideration of greatness.

The Bad Boys Piston teams also had names and recognizable talent that the later championship teams would lack. Names like Isaiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, and Bill Laimbeer are still known throughout the league. They are the greats of Detroit Piston basketball and to some degree of the NBA. Not only were these names recognizable and historic in league and team history, but also they were names of winners. Obviously the more recent teams are winners, but they have yet to combine the historical names, the winning, and the stamp on history that comes along with setting a trend.

There is, however, an argument to be made for the Detroit Piston teams of the early 2000s. Those teams have represented that city of Detroit with their blue collar methods. The collection of cast-offs from around the NBA shows that a true team can be the personification of the idea that the whole can be more than the sum of its parts. You could also make the argument that when it is all said and done, the names Billups, Wallace, Wallace, and Prince will be just as well known as those of the Bad Boys. With one championship ring, another appearance in the finals, and a quick start to the 2005-2006 season, the modern Detroit Piston team may even end up with more championships to their credit. And in the end, isnt it all about rings when it comes to the legacy of any great team?

When it comes to great basketball franchises, the Detroit Pistons may not be the first name to roll of the tongue, but they certainly will come in at some point. With at least two great runs in the history of the franchise, the argument over who is the best Detroit Piston team is one that may end in a draw. However, it is those great debates that will help both Detroit Piston teams to maintain their place in the mindset of Piston fans as well as basketball fans for years to come.

Skate To Where The Puck Is Going To Be -- But Arrive With An Attitude

Wayne Gretsky, the famous hockey player coined the original phrase; Skate to where the pucks going to be. I suppose he was trying to say that you have to anticipate the action. You must know your competition, trust your teammates and be aggressively proactive in your approach. Arrive with an attitude simply means doing all those things well and doing them with the confidence that you are the best at what you do. Success breeds success and attitude is one of the primary ingredients necessary to be a leader in the distribution business.

You and you alone are responsible for your attitude and the attitude your company reflects. You must will yourself to seek improvement in everything you do or time will catch up to you and you simply wont be able to compete. It was Mark Twain who said:

DONT GO AROUND SAYING THE WORLD OWES YOU A LIVING; THE WORLD OWES YOU NOTHING; IT WAS HERE FIRST.

Be a risk taker, be a maverick; avoid making a career out of procrastination and cautiousness. Those who succeed believe in themselves. They arent satisfied with the status quo and they are willing to take calculated risk.

Successful leaders encourage their employees to think outside the box. They empower them to act on their own initiative. Believe in yourself; believe in your employees and their right to self-determination. Suspend disbelief and act as if your companys success is imminent.

Recognize the power of your people, especially those employees closest to the action. Encourage them to be proactive and Skate to where the pucks going to be. Create a cultural environment that allows them to Arrive with an attitude. An attitude of confidence, competence and the ability to demonstrate the transfer of authority that the culture you have created has provided them.

Its an attitude of winning.
